GOVERNING DOCUMENTS

The most important governing document is the RESTATED COVENANTS, CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS known as the “Restated CC&Rs”. CC&Rs can be amended in two ways by the Owners—1) by individual amendments or 2) by amending certain provisions and restating the CC&Rs with the amended provisions. CC&Rs and amendments are recorded with the Los Angeles County Recorder. Recorded CC&Rs create equitable servitudes that attach to each Owner’s real estate interest whether a fee or a leasehold interest. Earlier versions of the CC&Rs and amendments can be found at ARCHIVES.
